Kim Kardashian has chosen to close one of her businesses after launching about a decade ago.

The reality TV personality, 43, shut down her mobile game, Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, that she launched with Glu Mobile back in 2014.

The game was wiped from app stores and will no longer be accepting in-app purchases because she wants ‘to focus that energy into other passions’.

The Kardashians star — who enjoyed a low-key New Year’s Eve at home this year — announced the news in a statement released to TMZ on Wednesday.

Inside the game, a notice was released for users already with the app downloaded, informing them that it will cease operating on April 8 and counting down the days.

‘I’m so grateful from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has loved and played Kim Kardashian: Hollywood in the past 10 years,’ Kardashian said.

‘This journey has meant so much to me but I’ve realized that it’s time to focus that energy into other passions,’ she continued.

‘I want to thank the Glu team and the many people behind the scenes who have worked diligently on making it a success,’ she added. ‘I will be forever inspired by this community that we built together.’

Back in 2014, the entrepreneur teamed up with Glu Mobile to release the video game, which was created with a goal of increasing fame and popularity until achieving A-list status.

In the mobile app, users can follow in Kardashian’s footsteps and gain fans by acting, modeling, making club appearances, and even dating.

The game also featured a currency called K-stars to help players progress at a quicker rate.

Overall, Kim Kardashian: Hollywood received mixed reviews but still made a whopping $1.6 million just five days after it was released on June 27 of that year.

Even without the mobile game, she will still be keeping busy running her clothing line SKIMS as well as her skincare brand SKKN.
