Harry Styles caused some of his fans to have a meltdown when he took a razor to his hair in November and sheared off his luscious locks.

However, hair-wise, things appear to have already taken a turn for the chart-topper after he was snapped by a fan sporting a different look.

When rumours first began that the As It Was singer, 29, was modelling a buzz cut at the end of last year, it’s safe to say that some were horrified at the thought.

The popstar had been spotted with girlfriend Taylor Russell at U2’s concert at The Sphere in Las Vegas looking almost unrecognisable in a grainy photo.

His mum, Anne Twist, then ended up confirming the news to his fanbase after encountering a fan at Ikea on a random Sunday, where she was quizzed on the matter – with her comments then shared on TikTok.

Apparently, the reason behind the pretty drastic decision was ‘because he’s on holiday [and] he fancied a change’.

She was then forced to step in again after disgruntled fans ‘in tears’ began making claims such as his new hair-do ‘had ruined their entire life’ and suggesting comparisons to EastEnders character Ian Beale.

Anne pointed out in her takedown that it was just hair, it was ‘his’ and that it would also grow back – ‘if he wants’.

Unsurprisingly, this has now proven to be the case after a photo of him was re-posted to a fan page on X on Wednesday, with the caption: ‘Harry on vacation recently’.

It showed Harry with his hair growing out while enjoying some winter sun on a beach.

The thrilled responses came thick and fast, with @itsharrysgucci commenting: ‘IT GREW SO FAST??? WE MIGHT SEE THE SUN AGAINNNN.’

‘His hair is growing back!!! I love it,’ added @Taylorsbae_l, while Antonella Anto chimed in with ‘beautiful’.

‘HIS HAIR IS SO LONG ALREADY,’ wrote @Juliennee_x.

Harry was also spotted taking a freezing cold post-Christmas dip with girlfriend Taylor in the outdoor ponds on Hampstead Heath, where the current water temperature is around 8°C.

The star sensibly donned gloves and swimming shoes for his icy splash, alongside his swimming trunks, and also wore a black and white bobble hat to keep his head warm (and conceal that headline-grabbing hair).
