Ariana Grande gave fans an intimate look at the recording process behind her lead single and title track Positions, off her sixth studio album, released last year.

In new behind-the-scenes footage documenting her arranging the hit’s bridge on YouTube, the 27-year-old Grammy winner can be seen meticulously working on dozens of different melodies in the recording studio.

Additionally, the video, which has already received nearly two million views, showcased her impressive vocal range and precision as she recorded her layered vocals.

Late last month, Grande announced she would be replacing Nick Jonas on the popular singing competition show.

Speaking of the new opportunity, she told her social media followers she was  ‘beyond thrilled.’

A recently source told Page Six, ‘Ariana is a huge fan of The Voice and her management team has been negotiating to get her on the show for a while.

She will coach alongside season 20 regulars Blake Shelton, John Legend and Kelly Clarkson.

‘She is replacing Nick Jonas, who is a [coach] on the current season, but he isn’t leaving for good,’ the source added. ‘Nick will remain on rotation with other stars that have appeared on the show. The chances are he will be back soon.’

Nick only recently joined the panel in spring 2020 for season 18, but coaches have come and gone through the years.

Blake Shelton is the only coach to remain throughout the show’s 20 seasons, while Adam Levine coached for 16 seasons, Christina Aguilera served as a coach for seven seasons, Pharrell Williams and a host of other notable names have mentored singers.
