The net worth of the Kelce brothers: How much did Travis and Jason earn in the NFL compared to Jalen Hurts?

Travis Kelce and his elder brother Jason have spent more than a decade in the NFL. In that time, the duo has amassed a lot of wealth, the majority of which comes from their earnings in the NFL. But how do the siblings compare to superstar QB Jalen Hurts?

Hurts has only spent a fraction of time in the NFL compared to the siblings. However, he plays in the lucrative QB position, while the brothers occupy TE and center positions, respectively. So can the duo take on the star quarterback in terms of earnings?

Jalen Hurts is new but not behind

After the Super Bowl loss in 2023, the 25-year-old Hurts signed a blockbuster contract extension with the Philadelphia Eagles. This contract is worth $255 million over 5 years. While Travis Kelce signed a 4-year contract extension in 2020 worth $57.25 million. His older brother, Jason, was on a one-year contract with the Eagles.

Jason’s one-year deal amounted to $9 million. Even though there’s much disparity between their contracts, the duo overtakes the QB. And by a significant margin.

As of 2024, brothers Jason and Travis Kelce have a combined net worth of $70 million. While Hurts’ net worth is only around $30-35 million. Though Hurts is on a lucrative contract, the time factor plays in favor of the Kelce brothers. Since their career earnings are way more significant.

Fruitful decades in the NFL

The Kelce brothers have spent 24 seasons combined with the NFL, while Jalen only has four. And this inequality is visible in the money these athletes have made over their careers. These earnings are bloated, with multiple income streams, apart from the salary. Incentives and signing bonuses also play a part.

Older brother Jason in his 13 seasons with the Eagles has made more than $81 million. While Travis Kelce in his 11 seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs has raked in almost $77 million. On the other hand, Hurts’ career earnings till now are only about $29 million.

Undoubtedly, Hurts will overtake the brothers in all forms of finances with time. But for now, the Kelce brothers have a leg up over the star QB Jalen Hurts.
