Journalist Loic Tanzi has now claimed that one Chelsea player had a move away from the club collapse late last night.
He took to Twitter to state that a move for Malang Sarr to leave the club on deadline day unfortunately collapsed at the final moment.
Sarr hasn’t featured at all for the Blues this season, with him not actually even being seen with the first team.

The writing was perhaps on the wall from an early stage of Mauricio Pochettino’s reign, with him hinting that he didn’t actually know who the defender was.
Because of this, there was an aim to get him to leave the club during the last transfer window that slammed shut last night.
It looked as if they may have been able to get his extortionate wages off the books, with Ligue 1 side Le Havre interested in a deal to bring him in.
Sarr deal collapsed
However, Tanzi has now claimed that the fact that Chelsea were unable to reach an agreement in order to terminate his time at the club.
He said: “Malang Sarr and Chelsea failed to reach an agreement to end their contract (2025). No signature in Le Havre therefore.”
The Frenchman doesn’t look as if he is going to feature anytime soon for the Blues, and therefore will likely feature in training with the youth sides for the rest of the season.
Given the fact that he has not really played any first team football since Thomas Tuchel was in charge of the club, there are likely not too many suitors who feel as if they want to bring him in right now.
Chelsea will also likely be in the market for a new centre-back when the transfer window opens again at the end of this season.
