‘I know what it is,’ Hayek said. ‘Because of a lot of things in my body and health issues, somehow I developed this strange meditation that I keep evolving. I can do it for hours because you don’t feel the time, and it’s so much fun.’

She explained that it was a different type of meditation than thinking of nothing.

‘It’s actually feeling the energy. And it moves and it dances inside of you, different feelings and sensations,’ Salma said.

‘So, I do a lot of the frequency machines and they work on me better than on anyone. And just the meditation … sometimes when I’m doing it, people tell me when I come out of the room, ”Oh my God, again, you look 20 years old”,’ Salma said.

Salma said she uses radio frequency and micro-frequency machines to tighten her skin and believes she gets better results due to her meditation practice.

‘The people that do the machines say that the results I get, they don’t get with other people,’ Salma said.

The Desperado star said she notices it when she gets away from her regular meditation routine.

‘When I don’t [meditate] for some time, guess what? Not only [does] the face starts to drop and everything starts to drop, [but also] my herniated disc, the problem in my neck, the problem in my hip, my ankles [comes back]. I start breaking down,’ she said.

Salma said her husband François-Henri Pinault, 61, has stayed skeptical of her anti-aging meditation.

‘My husband doesn’t believe in it,’ Salma admitted. ‘But when it’s really bad… he’ll go, ”Have you been doing your yoga?” He won’t even call it that.’

The Eternals star back in 2015 told Elle that when it comes to skincare, she had been using an ingredient usually used to treat burns victims in her native Mexico.

And she explained that those in the US were often shocked because they had never heard of such a product.

She said: ‘I use an ingredient called Tepezcohuite that’s used in Mexico for burn victims because it completely regenerates the skin, and there’s no one in the States who is using this ingredient except for us.

‘Some of the ingredients, when I took them to the American labs, they were like ‘Oh my god! How come nobody is using this? This is why I have no Botox, no peels, no fillings.’

Salma in February 2020 responded to a fan who accused her of having ‘too much Botox’ in a seaside selfie she shared on social media.

The Like a Boss funnywoman kindly clapped back in the comments: ‘I don’t have Botox but thank you for the advice because I was thinking maybe it’s time.’

Salma provided the voice of  Kitty Softpaws in the 2022 animated film Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.

She also was seen in Magic Mike’s Last Dance that was released in February.

Salma will also star in Angelina Jolie’s next directorial effort Without Blood, which is currently in post-production.

The actress stars alongside Demian Bichir in the adaptation of Alessandro Baricco’s novel, adapted by Jolie herself.
