One Piece: Oda Set To Reveal A Massive Secret That Shocks The Entire World

One Piece: Oda Set To Reveal A Massive Secret That Shocks The Entire World

The Egghead Island Arc of One Piece has been nothing short of spectacular and fans absolutely cannot wait for the upcoming chapter to deliver more lore regarding the Void Century. Fans know that the Void Century is pivotal to the One Piece lore and that it is actually at the core of the entire series.

Now, thanks to Vegapunk, some of the mysteries of the Void Century are being uncovered, and there cannot be a more exciting time for the fans than this. Of course, Vegapunk has already revealed quite a few interesting bits of history. However, there is much more to come, and one particular reveal that he is going to make is likely going to shock the entire world and turn it upside down.

The Secrets Of The Void Century Spilled By Vegapunk

Vegapunk Will Reveal Bits Of Joy Boy’s History

Vegapunk’s message marks the beginning of the end for the World Government. Essentially, by killing him, the World Government shot themselves in the foot as he had a pre-recorded message that was to go out the moment his heart stopped beating. The Five Elders tried their very best to find the transponder snail that was transmitting this message to the entire world. However, as has been evident, they failed at locating this snail, which meant that the broadcast continued. The very first thing that Vegapunk revealed to the entire world was that the Earth was going to sink under the ocean. Given that this message was recorded a few days prior to his death, he also made a bold prediction about the 1-meter rise in water level that was going to be caused by the earthquakes following the destruction of Lulusia. He mentioned that this rising sea level and the earthquakes were not, strictly speaking, a natural disaster. Instead, this disaster was caused by someone.

To make a long story short, the world, as we know it, will sink into the sea! – Dr. Vegapunk

While he could have revealed who exactly caused it right there and then, he first wanted the people of the world to know the proper background of why exactly what’s happening right now is happening in the first place. This is why Vegapunk dove deep into the history of the world, taking the readers as well as the people of the One Piece World 900 years back.

Vegapunk spoke about the Void Century, which people of the One Piece world know very little about right now. Every record of this period of time has been erased from the history books and, following its conclusion, the World Government was formed. Vegapunk continued to reveal that the Poneglyphs are the only way of uncovering the truth and he studied them himself, which means that, right now, he is one of the most knowledgeable people when it comes to the history of the Void Century.

He was the first to take to the seas. The first that came be known as a pirate!

Vegapunk revealed in the previous chapter that the star of the story is an individual born 900 years ago, who went by the name of Joy Boy. He had the power to stretch and shrink, just like the Sun God Nika from the tales of Elbaf. Joy Boy was the first to take to the seas, making him the very first pirate of the One Piece world. So far, this is all that Vegapunk has revealed. However, it goes without saying that he knows much more and that in the upcoming chapter of One Piece, he’s going to tackle more key bits of information from the Void Century and make them public.

The Limit Of Vegapunk’s Knowledge

While Vegapunk Knows A Lot, He Doesn’t Know The Entire Truth

Vegapunk certainly knows a lot, given that he has studied Poneglyphs themselves, and has received information that the scholars deciphered as well. Everything that they knew, he knows as well, and he has carried on their research, meaning that he knows the most about the world and how it was created, along with the wars that were fought in the past as well. However, Vegapunk does not know everything. This is something he confirmed in One Piece chapter 1114 himself. He mentioned he only knew a bit about this 100-year tale.

While he could easily fill in the gaps with his own speculation, he is only going to present the facts to the people of the world. This means that whatever Vegapunk mentions from here onwards is going to be the truth, and at the same time, also that he will not reveal the entirety of the Void Century history to the people of the world.

Oda will not reveal the major secrets about the Void Century, or show the people of the world what exactly happened during this time with a flashback. However, the key incidents that took place might be teased in this message in the upcoming chapter.

The Name Of The Ancient Kingdom And The Destruction And How It Was Destroyed

The Ancient Kingdom’s Secret Is About To Be Revealed In One Piece

The biggest detail that fans should be looking forward to is for Vegapunk to reveal the name of the ancient Kingdom in One Piece chapter 1115, or the chapter following it. Fans need to keep in mind that Vegapunk has studied quite a lot about the Ancient Kingdom. He knows about Joy Boy, his birth, and how he united the world. In the next chapter, he will likely talk about Joy Boy, how he grew into power, why he sailed the seas, how he made allies, what promises he made to them, and the war that brewed against him.

The most essential thing that holds the key to everything is the name of the once prosperous Kingdom! – Dr. Clover

He will likely also tackle the idea of the 20 Kings joining forces and taking on the Ancient Kingdom in an attempt to destroy it. Furthermore, Vegapunk could reveal why exactly the 20 Kings banded together in the first place. However, there will be key bits of information left out that Oda will tackle later down the line.

Most importantly, Vegapunk will reveal the name of the Ancient Kingdom very soon. This is simply down to the fact that he knows everything that the scholars of Ohara knew as well, given that all their research is currently safe in his head. He mentioned this himself long ago, and reiterated it recently, in One Piece chapter 1114. The scholars of Ohara almost revealed the name of the Ancient Kingdom back during the Enies Lobby Arc in Robin’s flashback. Unfortunately, Clover was shot before he could make this reveal public. Now, however, nothing can stop Vegapunk from revealing the secret to the entire world, and fans should brace themselves for this absolutely massive reveal.

Of course, there are other things that Vegapunk will tackle as well, which potentially include the destruction of the Ancient Kingdom, how Joyboy lost the battle against the 20 Kings, and how all of this ties to Luffy, the current wielder of the Nika fruit. Regardless of how fans look at it, the next chapter is going to tackle some major reveals, with the name of the Ancient Kingdom likely being the biggest of them all.
