Inside the incredible £4 million mansion of former Liverpool scorer Michael Owen, which features a rotating Ballon d’Or and a green room where he can put green all of his hat-trick balls

In his £4 million residence, Michael Owen’s Ballon d’Or trophy is placed under a spotlight on a spinning surface.

Former Liverpool striker Owen, who was awarded the world’s greatest player in 2001, welcomed ITV’s Through the Keyhole host Keith Lemon into his opulent home.

The Grade II listed mansion is nestled amid 42 acres of farmland in Northop, a small Welsh town near Mold.

Owen, 42, has lived on the home with his wife Louise Bonsall and their four children since 2001.

Of course, Gemma, his Love Island-starling daughter, grew up there.

She addressed her famous father in the first episode, stating he ‘had an opinion’ on the guys she dates, before it became clear to fellow participants who her father was.

But first, Lemon – real nаme Leigh Francis – uncovered a games area with a full-size snooker table inside.

It contains a massive photo frame on the wall with a selection of Owen’s England jerseys from his 89 caps.

There is a jukebox with signed footballs from Owen’s 17-year career displayed throughout the room.

In addition, the former Real Madrid striker gets a room with a Jacuzzi and a swimming pool surrounded by plants and a waterfall.

Owen’s elegant manor also includes a sophisticated sitting room with access to his gardens.

Owen, an avid golfer, has his own putting green outside, as well as a jungle playground for his children.

Lemon was not permitted to enter the bedrooms of the striker, who also played for Newcastle, Manchester United, and Stoke City.
