Bold and Beautiful: Eric’s Goodbye – Fans Say Like Watching Paint Dry

Bold and the Beautiful has Eric Forrester‘s launching pad ready, so now fans of the CBS soap sit through the agony of a week devoted to party preparations.

Still, B&B peppered the episodes with flashbacks, all dedicated to Eric’s life. Fans seem to think this could be an attempt to break up the monotony. But, they also seem to think the soap missed the boat on this one.

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Eric Forrester Long Send-Off

While it’s still up in the air if Eric Forrester (John McCook) meets his maker anytime soon due to this mystery illness, the party must go on. At least Bold and Beautiful navigates the scenes leading up to the bash with some level-headed thinking.

Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) points out how ludicrous this is to throw a party and have everyone pretend. While the Logan sisters stand behind Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) wanting to honor Eric’s wishes, it looks like his son is about to take things into his own hands.

When you think about it, almost everyone now knows about Eric’s illness on Bold and the Beautiful today. So it looks like Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) plans on filling in the rest of the party-goers before the event.

Next, it looks like Eric Forrester’s celebration of life turns into something close to a funeral if everyone is up-to-date with his prognosis. While they know that he doesn’t have long to live, no one has mentioned just what it is he’s dying from.

B&B Spoilers: Twist for Eric’s Gala Funeral?

This is Bold and the Beautiful, so these might be Eric Forrester’s final days. He could even take his last breath at this party. Or not.

Finn planned on looking into Eric’s case, but nothing came up on B&B yet about that. So, some fans suggest that just maybe John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) shows up at the party with good news. Perhaps Eric’s case is perfect for some type of trial treatment.

Or, Finn could see Eric’s condition as curable. But who knows where this is headed? The complaints from fans center on this long, drawn-out drama around “Eric dying.”

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: In the Guest House

Because the Forrester patriarch refuses to call in the doctor each time his illness causes him trouble, there’s no one to say his sickness progresses at a rapid pace.

So, instead, it seems Bold and the Beautiful intends to do this with visuals. To impress upon the viewers that he’s going downhill quickly, they appear to demonstrate this. First, there was the oxygen mask, which means he was having trouble breathing.

The latest clue as to how bad this has gotten is Eric Forrester now living in the guest house. The stairs got too much for him, Donna said. So, maybe Bold and the Beautiful is getting the fans ready for the iconic character’s demise.

This gala affair likely presents the answer that everyone has been waiting for. Maybe Eric Forrester is going out with his family all around him. Or fans suggest that someone may bust in with a miracle cure or news of a misdiagnosis.

But today, fans express that they grow weary over these sad and repetitive scenes. So, some are ready to admit, that it’s looking more like Eric Forrester, this iconic character, is about to take his final bow on the CBS soap.
