Producer Na Yeong Seok confessed that BTS’s V was angry with him for “tricking” him into being on the variety show ‘Jinny’s Kitchen.’

On December 8, Producer Na Yeong Seok planned a special event for BTS’s V. On this day, Producer Na invited Park Seo Joon to cook a special birthday meal for V before he enlisted in the mandatory military service.

Early in the morning, Producer Na and Park Seo Joon came together to prepare a diverse array of dishes. They crafted the customary birthday delicacy – seaweed soup, along with other flavorful dishes and also a handmade cake.

After delivering the meal and giving V a surprise “Happy Birthday” song, they sat down with V and revealed to him that they wanted to express how thankful they were toward him.

Producer Na explained, “V’s someone who doesn’t appear on variety programs too often but he appeared on ‘Jinny’s Kitchen’ and I’m so greatful.” He continued, “But what I’m more particularly thankful is that day. It was the fourth day since we began filming.”

Producer Na revealed that he had lied slightly to V and said, “To be honest, we had to convince V to appear on the show. So he asked us what we would do when we’re not operating the restaurant. So I said, we hang out; we go swimming in the morning and drink at night. I told him we hang out and he was so happy saying ‘I go swiming with Seo Joon Hyung.”

Then Producer Na confessed, “But you know the situation. We don’t have time to do those things. We have to wake up early to prepare everything and at night, we’re busy cleaning up.” 

He expressed his gratitude toward V by saying, “I’m actually really thankful because he endured such difficult schedule. To be honest, V was slightly mad at me. He said, ‘Producer, this is different what you said.” Park Seo Joon added, “I heard him say that two, three times too.”

Producer Na concluded, “I’m so thankful that he came all the way to Mexico and played the role of the Maknae. I was really thankful as a director.”
