She shares the tyke with her husband, Cook Maroney, and said becoming a mom made her anxious and begin to experience ‘intrusive thoughts.’

Jennifer said she initially wanted her security team to be ‘invisible,’ though she quickly found out that that approach wasn’t feasible or helpful.

‘Yeah, friendly is nice because before I hired them, in my mind I was like, I want them to be invisible. I don’t want my kid to see you or know you,’ she shared. ‘And then once they start working for you, it’s like, “Well, wait. This is a person in our life. He’s helping us.”‘

One of Jennifer’s next projects will allow her to show her comedic chops. She has signed on for the horror comedy Die, My Love, described as a dark comedy about ‘mental health and the breakdown of a marriage’  (Pictured in New York in November)

The actress added that it was ‘not really a good lesson to ignore the person that’s helping us.’

‘It’s probably better to say, “Say good morning to Sean. Hi. How are you?” We’ve incorporated them more in our lives, which surprised me. That wasn’t how I planned it,’ she stated.

Scottish director and writer Lynne Ramsey described the film to Variety as being ‘about mental health…and the breakdown of a marriage. But it’s really f**king funny.

At least I think it’s funny,’ she added, ‘But I’m [from Glasgow], so I’ve a really black sense of humor.’
