She’s known for encouraging body positivity and Lizzo has brought that vibe to her latest campaign.
The singer and flautist, 32, was announced as the face of Quay sunglᴀsses’s ‘Confidence is Quay’ campaign on Wednesday and she wore a series of Sєxy and sᴀssy flesh-flashing ensembles to show off the range.
Lizzo said of the partnership with the Australian brand: ‘Quay is different from other eyewear brands out there. They’re cool and fresh, but also inclusive and attainable.
‘Their message of confidence and self-expression is something that I believe in and can stand behind,’ she added.
Lizzo explained that because her style is ‘always evolving’ the collection will include a mix of fun styles.
‘I like to mix it up, and I love that this collection has a little bit of everything.’
Fans can expect the collaboration to include glitter lenses, star-shaped studs and statement frames.
‘I like those kinds of special details. These glᴀsses are fun and different,’ she added.
Quay is working with the Grammy award winner to help Feeding America provide meals to people struggling with hunger through a programme called BUY ONE. GET ONE. GIVE 100 MEALS.
For every sunglᴀsses purchase, from May 21 to 26, customers get another pair of shades of their choice for free, and Quay will help provide at least 100 meals per purchase to the not-for-profit organisation.
‘Combine all that with the opportunity to do good with Feeding America, and it doesn’t get much better than that,’ Lizzo said.
Lizzo toured Australia for the first time earlier this year. During her stay, she helped out at the FoodBank charity in Melbourne sorting through donations and packing food hampers.
