There was another member of the Mahomes family that was furious following Kansas City’s controversial 20-17 home defeat to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.
The Chiefs were angry with a late penalty that saw a potential game-winning touchdown ruled out by the referees.

Brittany Mahomes, Patrick’s wife, took to social media to vent her frustration.
While Kansas City’s quarterback yelled on the field and kept dropping f-bombs after the Chiefs’ defeat, Brittany used Instagram to sarcastically highlight the real “MVP” of the game.
A video posted to Brittany’s account showed a slow close-up look at the field.
With a referee standing and watching, the image increasingly centered on an NFL employee wearing black and white.
Three letters hovered about the ref, then created a halo effect.
Soon, “MVP” centered around a ref’s head in a brief, silent video that said it all.
While Brittany had her say, NFL fans viciously fired back.
“She is right, the referees are the MVPs,” one fan tweeted. “They have helped Mahomes win several games this year.”
“Who’s going to tell her that her husband has gotten bailed out by the refs more than anyone in history,” a second fan posted.
“Glad they’re finally recognizing the real Super Bowl MVP from last season,” a third fan wrote.
“I feel like even Chiefs fans have to dislike this woman lmao,” a fourth fan said.
Brittany’s husband Patrick was critical of the officials in his post-match media duties.
“I’ve played seven years [and] never had offensive offside called,” Mahomes said.
“That’s elementary school [stuff] we’re talking about. There was no warning throughout the entire game. Then you wait until there’s a minute left in the game to make a call like that? It’s tough. Lost for words. It’s tough.
“Regardless if we win or lose, just the end of another game and we’re talking about the refs. It’s just not what we want for the NFL and for football.
Kansas City has dropped two consecutive games and three of its last four.
The Chiefs (8-5) are still atop the AFC West but their lead is down to just one game over the Denver Broncos.
Not even Taylor Swift could help Kansas City on Sunday.
The Chiefs are now 0-2 and have back-to-back defeats with Swift cheering the reigning Super Bowl champs.
