Relocating to the Harbour City for three months as she directs new film Unbroken, the Hollywood actress and her children will reportedly call a multimillion dollar mansion in exclusive Vaucluse home until Christmas.

Despite the long and tiresome flight, the 38-year-old appeared refreshed and happy as she escorted her family through the airport to their awaiting minivan in the early hours.

The stunning brunette was dressed in her signature all-black attire of pants, a top, loose, flowy cardigan and flip flops, while she wore her hair down, little make-up and shielded her eyes with large gold Aviators.

Her mini-me twin daughter, Vivienne, held on tight to her mom’s hand, wearing a similar black ensemble and flip flops, as she wheeled her cute pink suitcase along behind her.

Eight-year-old Zahara played the doting big sister, protectively holding onto Knox, five, and Shiloh, seven, as she steered them through the arrivals hall.

She showed off her flair for fashion in a beige skirt, matching shirt with black polka dots and fun red ballet flats.

Knox was a dapper little dude in navy blue pants and a matching blazer, which he paired with smart black shoes and a striped blue and white T-shirt.

The tot could hardly contain his excitement, wearing a huge smile on his face while clutching his beloved blue blanket and wearing an orange backpack.

Tomboy Shiloh looked equally thrilled to be in the land Down Under, and she displayed her own unique style in baggy blue pants, white sneakers and a red Star Wars T-shirt.

Notoriously shy Pax hid behind his favourite giant purple monkey as he tried to go incognito.

The nine-year-old wore khaki pants and black sneakers, with his grey striped hoodie pulled up over his head and black sunglasses.

Big brother Maddox almost passed for part of the security detail as he brought up the rear.

The 12-year-old looked smart in dark jeans, black sneakers and a white shirt, which he accessorised with sunnies and a grey beanie.

While it was originally reported that Angelina would film Unbroken in Hawaii, it seems her plans changed following a whirlwind 24-hour visit with son Pax back in July.

It is the second feature film Jolie will direct, following 2011’s In The Land Of Blood And Honey, which was nominated for a Golden Globe.

Unbroken tells the inspirational true story of Louis Zamperini, an Olympic runner and air force second lieutenant who survived for 47 days adrift in the Pacific Ocean without food or water when his plane crashed during World War IIin 1943.

After enduring endless shark attacks and aerial strikes, he was eventually captured by the Japanese and tortured in a prisoner-of-war camp until the end of the war in 1945.

Meanwhile, Angelina has another reason to be smiling, as she is set to be honoured with her second Oscar – this time for her humanitarian work.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will present the star with the honorary Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award at the 5th Annual Governors Awards on November 16.

It will be the second Oscar for Jolie – she received a gong for Girl, Interrupted in 1999 – who the Academy praised for being an ‘impassioned advocate for humanitarian causes, traveling widely to promote organisations and social justice efforts such as the Prevent Sexual Violence Initiative.’
