She’s set to make her hosting debut on Saturday Night Live over the weekend.
And Lizzo was spotted out with several stars of the iconic sketch comedy series on Tuesday night in New York City.
The 33-year-old rapper and singer was unmissable in a bright orange ensemble as she arrived at Manhattan’s Restaurant Row for dinner with the cast and creative team.
Lizzo (born Melissa Jefferson) stepped out of a silver SUV on Tuesday evening in a striking pair of casual orange pants with darker seems running down the front off her legs and a slight flare at the hem.
She had on a matching mock turtleneck that showed off a hint of her midriff and had a similar seem running down the middle of her chest.
The Truth Hurts rapper matched her suit to a short orange leather jacket, and she even had an extra orange mask attached to her orange handbag, though she wore a redder-colored covering as she exited the vehicle.
Lizzo contrasted the monochrome look with a set of white trainers, and she wore her lustrous raven tresses parted down the middle and cascading down her shoulders.
Even though she was there to get to know the SNL cast better, she was gracious enough with her time to stop and sign vinyl LPs and posters for fans waiting outside the restaurant.
Lizzo made her debut as the musical guest on SNL back in 2019, when Eddie Murphy returned to host for the first time in 35 years.
This time around, she’ll be handling both hosting and musical performance duties.
During SNL’s season, the writers and cast work on a grueling six-day schedule, with Mondays primarily devoted to pitching sketches, while Tuesday is reserved for writing them, according to Insider.
The work begins in the morning, and writers can sometimes work all the way through the night as they try to perfect their sketches.
