According to MovieWeb, a source in Hollywood said that both Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. recently agreed to return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Previously, there was some information about the studio planning to invite old stars to revive the superhero brand after the recent difficult time. In addition to Chris and Robert, Scarlett Johansson is also one of the targeted faces.

On movie forums, fans predict that Chris Evans will likely reappear as Captain America in Captain America: Brave New World (2021) or Avengers: Secret Wars (2027). Some sources say the actor is waiting for the strike in Hollywood to end so he can begin filming.

Meanwhile, many theories about the return of Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man was also brought up by fans. One of the ideas that has received a lot of support is related to the Ironheart series – a movie about Marvel’s female version of Iron Man expected to be released in 2024.
