Alexis And Sonny’s Misgivings, Should They Put A Stop To Their Daughter’s Surrogacy Plan?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will have misgivings. Should they put a stop, or try to, to Kristina Corinthos-Davis’ (Kate Mansi) surrogacy plan?

General Hospital Spoilers – Fearing Outcomes

Alexis figures Sonny already knows about Kristina being Molly and TJ Ashford’s (Tajh Bellow) surrogate but she isn’t sure if he knows about the egg donor part.

When Sonny finds out the baby will be from Kristina’s egg as well as her carrying the baby, he and Alexis both fear the same outcome.

Kristina’s biological timeclock is running out and he remembers the challenges of Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) and Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) trying to adopt a baby as a gay couple.

What if when it comes time to give up the baby, Kristina is attached to it and won’t go through with the contract?

What if she decides it may be her only chance to be a mother, knowing she’ll never have a baby of her own either if she gives it up?

GH Spoilers – Is It Too Late To Back Out?

Kristina, Molly and TJ already have set in stone that this is what they want to do, even after Alexis talked to them about the legality issues.

If they sign a contract, it’s not going to be easy to get out of, but she’s more worried about Kristina than she is about Molly and TJ sticking to it.

Sonny agrees that Kristina could be more prone to attachment to the baby as the egg donor, though her point about Molly being related by blood to the baby was valid.

That seemed to be Kristina’s selling point to convincing Molly and TJ to let her donate the egg as well as her body to carry the baby.

They don’t want Kristina to carry that baby for possibly nine months and then back out-and Sonny’s got an investment in Molly too-she’s his niece!

General Hospital Spoilers – Should They Try To Stop Them?

Sonny and Alexis talk about trying to stop Molly, TJ and Kristina from going through with the surrogacy plan but admit that it may be too late.

Everyone is so excited about the plan and TJ and Molly not having to start from square one, which could take six more months and then nine additional months.

They all think it’s perfect and Kristina swears she won’t back out of it, she knows the baby will be her niece or nephew, not her daughter or son.

Sonny has additional qualms, having lived through this kind of situation even before Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and his coming about.

There was Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) trying to have a baby using surrogates and it taking years to find their babies with much interference.
