Keeping her hair naturally curly, the 32-year-old perfected the beach babe look with a pair of brown sunglasses as she worshipped the sun in the popular holiday location, where she’s staying in a private villa with pals.

The 32-year-old American tennis star left for Croatia last week, having been forced to pull out of her women’s doubles second-round match with sister Venus, where they were playing Kritina Barrois and Stefanie Voegele.

She was said to be ‘heartbroken’ after feeling too unwell to compete in the tournament so finding the time to relax with friends is top of the American beauty’s priorities.

But the heartbreak of the tournament coming to an abrupt end hasn’t stopped the tennis star getting back into her stride on the Croatian courts while vacationing in the sunny holiday hotspot.

She was spotted taking to the courts again on Friday, wearing a tiny sports crop top and pink-rimmed shorts, proving that tennis is never far from the stars’ mind.

Her coach, Patrick Mouratoglou, has said that the pair have been straight back to work following the defeat.

Having come from a famously sporty family, the star proved that competition is also firmly in her nature when she was filmed attempting to catch an ice cream scoop in her mouth in front of amazed onlookers in the local parlour.

The tennis player has become somewhat of a local attraction in the streets of Croatia, gaining attention when she stepped out in a figure-hugging black jumpsuit to pose with fans and holidaymakers.

Serena, who is proud of her curvacious figure, crashed a couple’s wedding pictures back in May when she stepped out in a high leg leopard print leotard on Miami beach, flashing her shapely, toned calves and upper thighs alongside the elegantly-clad couple.
