Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) star Kylian Mbappe suddenly considered the possibility of moving to the Premier League after being unimpressed with Real Madrid’s latest attempt to sign him.

The Times revealed that striker Mbappe is not attracted by Madrid’s latest attempt to sign a pre-contract contract with him this month. The French striker will consider all his options, including a move to the Premier League as a free agent.

Al Hilal Club has participated in the race to win the signature of Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah, along with their rival in the Saudi Pro League, Al Ittihad.

Mbappe ‘s contract with PSG will expire at the end of the season and he can negotiate with foreign clubs from January 2024. Mbappe is in fiery form, scoring 22 goals in 23 matches in tournaments. The latest French striker scored a hat trick in PSG’s 9-0 rout against Revel in the first round of the French National Cup.

Real Madrid has long been interested in the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner. The top La Liga team has set a deadline of January 2024 for Mbappe’s decision to move to Santiago Bernabeu. However, Mbappe told his relatives that Madrid is not the place that decides his future.

Mbappe confirmed that he still does not have a new team, despite being continuously linked with a move to Real Madrid. The PSG striker shared with The Mirror: “I haven’t decided yet. I don’t have any choice yet. With the agreement I discussed with the PSG president in the summer, my decision is not important right now.

We are not talking about transfers , because the Ligue 1 season is still going on. I want to keep peace for myself and the club in the face of upcoming challenges, that is the most important thing. So we can consider the decision about my future as secondary.”

The Frenchman was expected to join Los Blancos in 2022 until he signed a new two-year contract extension at Parc des Princes. The decision has angered the La Liga giants, as he is a top target to become Karim Benzema’s long-term replacement.

However, Mbappe apologized to Real Madrid president Florentino Perez after refusing a transfer. This temporarily puts an end to rumors that Ligue 1’s top scorer is joining the big Spanish team.

Earlier this week, Mbappe also had a discussion with PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi to announce that he had not reached an agreement with any club or was clear about his future. The Parisian star, along with his mother and agent, Fayza Lamari, and advisors are assessing Mbappe’s potential chances in the Premier League.

Liverpool seems to be the leading candidate if this 2022 FIFA World Cup Golden Boot winner comes to England. Coach Jurgen Klopp’s team is looking for a new striker this summer, with the prominent name Mbappe, while Mohamed Salah’s future remains open. Recently, Salah attracted more interest from Al Hilal, after their Saudi Pro League opponents, Al Ittihad, were unable to have him in the summer. This further urges Liverpool to close a contract with Mbappe soon.
