A young lady named Anita Olanipekun who won a full scholarship from the Commonwealth has bagged a master’s degree from Cranfield University in the United Kingdom.
Anita is a Nigerian-born who moved to the United Kingdom to further her postgraduate studies. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering from Adeleke University, Nigeria.
She achieved an exceptional feat in Adeleke University as she was the first-ever Mechanical Engineering graduate in the institution. Anita shared her achievement of earning her masters at Cranfield University on her Linkedin.
Anita bagged her masters degree in Advanced Heat Engineering from Cranfield University through the fully funded Commonwealth Shared Scholarship. She thanked the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office in the United Kingdom for their support.
She mentioned that the opportunity given to her by the commonwealth has allowed her to study at one of the world’s leading academic institutions, empowering her to make a significant contribution to engineering in her country, Nigeria, and the world at large.
She expressed her gratitude to Cranfield University and Commonwealth Scholarship Commission for investing in her education and enabling her to pursue the degree. Anita also thanked her professors, mentors, and others who supported me in her academic journey at Cranfield University.
Anita stated that it was great to meet and learn with brilliant minds in the Advanced Heat Engineering class of 2023 adding that she will cherish their time together forever.
She stated that with the knowledge and skills acquired during her time at the university, she is now equipped to tackle real-world challenges in the field of mechanical engineering. Anita added that she is eager to make a positive impact by driving innovation and sustainable energy solutions.
