Tonight, Gomez made a jaw-dropping arrival at Los Angeles’s Peacock Theater for the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards. Though she didn’t walk the carpet with Blanco, the music producer was spotted blowing her kisses as she arrived at the venue, per behind-the-scenes footage published by E! News.

For the star-studded occasion, the Only Murders in the Building star interpreted the dominating red-carpet sheer trend in the most spectacular way possible. The centerpiece of her look was a strapless sheer mesh Oscar de la Renta gown covered in scarlet sequins arranged in a floral, leaflike pattern. She upped the ante with her choice of accessories—namely, a huge diamond necklace with a massive dark pink center stone by Tiffany & Co. As for footwear, Gomez capped off the ensemble with coordinating ruby velvet heels.

Tonight’s outfit is a slight departure from her last big red-carpet look: the ruby-red custom Giorgio Armani Privé gown she wore to the 2024 Golden Globes earlier this month. The glamorous piece featured a high-neck halter top with cutouts and black crystal-embroidered flowers along the center of the bodice. The look was completed with a matching asymmetrical full skirt with a black waistband, as well as deep red pointed-toe heels and sparkling silver jewelry.

Days after, the actor attended the AFI Awards Luncheon at the Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles in a sleek black pinstripe suit.

Gomez’s documentary show Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me earned an Emmys nod this year in the Outstanding Writing for a Nonfiction Program category. Meanwhile, Hulu’s Only Murders is nominated in two categories tonight, though Gomez didn’t receive an individual nomination for her performance in the comedy-mystery series as Mabel Mora.
