She was recently hit by a second plagiarism allegation over her chart-topping single Truth Hurts.
But the furore did not stop Lizzo from stepping out on stage to perform at The Victoria Warehouse in Manchester on Monday.
The Good As Hell singer, 31, wowed in a glitzy purple leotard featuring ribbon-like adornments as she bought her Cuz I Love You Too world tour to the city.
Over her stand out costume, Lizzo donned a sheer black cape as she paraded in front of her adoring audience.
The star’s eye shadow matched her outfit and she wore a pair of sequin-covered military-style boots to emphasise her quirky style.
During her set, she belted out her hits into her microphone in front of her backing singers, with the relaxed star also breaking into laughter as she interacted with her excited fans.
Lizzo’s latest performance comes after she was accused of plagiarism over her chart-topping single Truth Hurts.
Brothers Justin and Jeremiah Raisens claimed they helped to create one of the track’s iconic lines – ‘I just took a DNA test turns out I’m 100 percent that b***h’.
As a result, they are each asking for five percent of the proceeds of the track.
Making the allegations public for the first time last month, the songwriters told the New York Times they wrote a song called Healthy with Lizzo that featured a near identical line.
‘We were never contacted about being credited for the use of the parts of Healthy (melody, lyrics, and chords) that appear in Truth Hurts’.
