Miley Cyrus hilariously revealed she was a ‘penis enthusiast’ as she took up a shock role in the new comedy Drive-Away Dolls.
The star, 31, plays Tiffany Plaster Caster, a character based on the plaster artist Cynthia Plaster Caster – a real-life artist who started her career casting the penises of famous musicians in plaster in the late 1960s.
Co-writer and co-director Ethan Coen revealed that he and his wife and co-writer and director Tricia Cooke had the Wrecking Ball singer in mind for the role all along.
When the Grammy winner received the script she revealed to the filmmakers that she is a long-time penis enthusiast.
‘When we asked her to do the movie and sent her the script, we didn’t realize that she is a long time — what’s the word? — connoisseur, a student, an enthusiast for penises,’ Coen said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight and couldn’t hold back his laugh.

‘She only told us after the fact. She said, “Yeah, man, I have a whole penis room in my house. It was profiled in Town and Country.” We didn’t know there was such a thing as a penis room.’
In a separate interview with The Wrap, Coen and Cooke also mentioned the Flowers singer’s fondness for phalluses.
‘I was telling [Cyrus] about Cynthia Plaster Caster, “I don’t know if you know, your character’s based on Cynthia,”‘ Cooke explained to the outlet.
‘She’s like, “I thought that’s why you called me.” Big fondness for Cynthia Plaster Caster.’
‘Miley loves her d—s,’ Coen joked. ‘That’s her thing too. She’s into that, both the retro hippie thing and the whole phallus-molding thing.’
And Cooke went on to rave about Miley’s portrayal, saying that she was ‘just game for anything, whatever you ask her to do.’
‘We wanted to do this low shot that was kind of pushing into her and we’re like, “Do you mind if we go down here?” She’s like, “I’ve done much worse,”‘ Cooke recalled.
Coen added, ‘She is so much fun… At [then] 29 years old, she’s — I mean it in the best sense — like an old show-business broad. “Yeah, whatever, honey. All you need.”‘
The character Miley’s role is based on is Cynthia Albritton — an artist and groupie who famously cast the genitals of musicians and others in plaster, from Jimi Hendrix to Jello Biafra from the Dead Kennedys.
