Brennan Daring Pentonville Escape: Carly Caught In Crossfire

General Hospital spoilers tease that John Brennan (Charles Mesure) was only in Port Charles for a short time, but he made quite an impact. Brennan first showed up at Kelly’s (now Bobbie’s) Diner and immediately struck up a conversation with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).

But Brennan wasn’t exactly honest about his reasons for being in Port Charles and after a tense encounter with Carly, he ended up in prison. But is there more to the story?

General Hosptial Spoilers – Frisco Jones Was Removed From The WSB!

For the last several years, Frisco Jones (Jack Wagner) was head of the WSB. When he refused to bomb Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) boat in Greenland, he was quickly removed from his position. Several months later, it was revealed that Brennan took over the position from Frisco.

He was also revealed as the head of the Pikeman Group, who had bringing in dangerous weapons through the Docks in Port Charles. He also had a vendetta against Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).

GH Spoilers – John Brennan Almost Killed Carly Spencer

When Carly discovered Brennan’s true identity, he planned to kill her despite being quite enamored with her. Brennan was stopped by Anna and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zomprogna) and eventually he would up in Pentonville.

Given his position and his contact, it seems as if Brennan could escape any time we wanted to. In addition, there may be forces who want to keep him quiet and may want him dead to keep him from revealing too much information.

General Hospital Spoilers – Carly Spencer May Be In The Wrong Place At The Wrong Time!

It would be easy to imagine a scenario where Brennan escapes prison. Not being familiar with Port Charles, he could easily find himself at Bobbie’s to hide out. And it’s also possible that Brennan has been working undercover all this time.

So if he encounters Carly, she may begin to suspect that there more to Brennan than what she may have thought.

Perhaps he will take her hostage and take Carly on the road as they hide from both authorities and assassins. John may even save Carly’s life at one point, convincing her that he isn’t the villain he appears to be.

The light in Wolfy’s eyes went out and his warmth, softness and presence receded into the landscape of my memory. I would never kiss his fur again, feel his warmth, or his reassuring presence leaning firmly against my knee. My dearest companion was gone. I bent double and let out a long and primal scream. Someone handed me a glass. Our neighbourhood’s much-loved vet, Andrew Carmichael, was there holding a stiff whisky and also wiping away tears. Now in his 80s, Andrew has euthanised countless animals, yet…’This job gets harder, not easier,’ he said. ‘Here’s to dear Wolfy and to the others that follow. You will love many more dogs in your life.’
