Ariana Grande fired back at those who leaked her song Fantasize back in 2022, threatening legal action against the leakers.
The 30-year-old singer appeared on the Zach Sang Show on Tuesday, where she called out those who leaked her song on TikTok.
She also took to Instagram to reveal the track list for her new album Eternal Sunshine, which debuts on March 8.
Grande revealed on the interview that the song Fantasize wasn’t even her actual song, but instead a parody song for an unnamed TV show.
She revealed in the interview that the song came from some studio sessions she did before leaving to film Wicked.

‘Before I left for Wicked, the few studio sessions I did, which are all — all — over TikTok, thank you so much. I’ll see you in jail, literally,’ she said.
‘The thing is, though, those were all written for a TV show, for something that was not for me,’ she admitted, though she did not name the TV show.
‘So Fantasize comes out — “comes out” — crazy, was stolen. Comes out? Thieves, pirates, crooks, illegal. I’ll pay you more to put it away, to get it back,’ Grande said with a laugh.
She added, ‘It wasn’t my song. It wasn’t for me. It was a parody of a ’90s girl group vibe,’ adding the fans, ‘loved it so much.’
‘And I was like, A), all of you are absolutely hypocrites, and B), that’s crazy. That’s so corny, but that’s OK. I took the note, and I kinda gave them Ariana’s version of that on the album, I would say that exists,’ she said.
It isn’t clear which song is her own ‘version’ of Fantasize, but she admitted, ‘so some of those seedling ideas from that time actually made their way onto the album, which is really exciting.’
‘But they’re completely different now, although you’ve heard them, because you stole them, again, but they’re very different now, so that’s exciting,’ she said.
When asked if she’s heard herself as A.I. singing songs that aren’t hers, Grande replied, ‘Yes. What are we doing? Why? I hate it.’

The final two tracks are Imperfect For You and Ordinary Things featuring ‘Nonna’ a.k.a. her 98-year-old grandmother Marjorie Grande.
