After both Roseanne Barr and Rob Schneider experienced huge hits on Fox Nation, the parent network is in talks with the pair to do a show together.
“We’d love to have them,” said Fox Entertainment Chairman Joe Barron, “They’re two of the hottest names in comedy right now.”
Schneider, whose anti-woke message received more than a dozen standing ovations, says he’d be thrilled to work with someone as talented as Roseanne.
For Barr, the opportunity to work with anyone not associated with ABC or “The Conners” is a thrill. “It’s been so long since I collaborated, I don’t know if I remember how,” she joked.
Barron says the network is really pushing for this one. “Every once in a while an opportunity arises to put a couple of really great minds together. Then, sometimes, a couple of low IQ, low talent hacks from an 80s show and a few clever side roles in Sandler movies come along and something really special forms.”
The Network is hoping that happens, which is why they paid the pair “far more than anyone else would have” just for the opportunity to discuss the idea.
According to our sources, that not only included validating their parking, but also a voucher for the sandwich vending machine in the lobby. “It was more than fair,” said Barron. God Bless America.
