While sitting in the back of the well-lit vehicle, with cameras aimed rolling, Gaga could be seen changing out of her ice blue frock.

In the midst of the outfit change, she lost her grip on a bright canary yellow fur shawl that she had been using to cover up with.

After inadvertently exposing her chest, the Born This Way hitmaker eventually used her hands to shield herself from further embarrassment.

Afterwards, on Sunday morning Lady Gaga appeared to have forgotten all about the incident.

Instead, she shared a selfie as she prepared to take a ‘polar plunge’, an event in which attendees jump into freezing cold water.

The 13-time MTV Video Music Award winner is seen in the photo looking nervous, with the caption, ‘Before the Polar Plunge’.

Gaga soon arrived to a beach in Chicago, Illinois where she dove in to Lake Michigan, in support of the Special Olympic Games.

The previous morning, on Saturday, Gaga appeared to be preparing for her chilly dip, wearing some not-so-practical attire for the record-breaking wintry weather in New York.

As she exited her apartment building in Manhattan the pop diva wore nothing but an ultra-sheer, mint-green gown, while clutching a golden purse in one hand and the leash of her beloved French Bulldog, Asia, in the other.

But the six-time Grammy winner wasn’t exposed to the frigid weather very long as she hopped into a waiting car.

In another photo Gaga said, ‘I’m always better after a night out with my friends. They are so beautiful and talented and inspiring. Every midnight hour we approach a new epic voyage of the absurd.’

Glamour predicted the 13-episode fifth season – which premieres in October – will take place in either the Garden of Allah, the Cecil Hotel, or the World’s Fair Hotel.
