General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) suspicions feed into Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) fears.
Curtis has been learning what the PCPD has on Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Trina fears having to choose between her loyalty to him and her friend Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).
General Hospital Spoilers – A Preponderance Of Evidence
Deputy Mayor Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) who’s been trying to help Curtis find out whose bullet he took, has been telling as much as she knows.
Even though she’s not directly involved with the PCPD and is now considered a civilian, she does find out some things about the ongoing investigation.
There’s a preponderance of evidence, although circumstantial, that the same gunman was involved in both the Metro Court Pool attack and the attack at Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) warehouse.
In both cases, the sniper’s rifles were left behind, and in both cases, traced back to the WSB arsenal theft in Berlin.
Drone footage photos taken by Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) showed Jason and an unknown second shooter on the warehouse roof.
GH Spoilers – Jason Morgan Has To Be The Shooter
Everyone seems to forget there was a second person in those photos; the man Jason says was Hamish Hampton (Chris Gunn).
No one seems to know what happened to him, and Jason isn’t saying, although if and when Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) wakes up he knows the truth.
So with Jason being an obvious and convenient target, combined with his surrendering to the police, Curtis-and Trina-are convinced he was the shooter at the Metro Court too.
Trina’s already had a tense and emotional conversation with Josslyn about needing space because of Jason and his importance to her and her family.
It tears Trina up to think she has to choose between loyalty to her father and loyalty to her friend, especially while in deep grief over Spencer Cassadine (Nikolas Alexander Chavez).
General Hospital Spoilers – Divided Loyalties-Not Necessary
Trina’s loyalties need not be divided between Josslyn and Curtis, he explains to his daughter-he’s still friends with Jason’s twin, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
There’s no conflict of interest if she wants to keep her friendship with Josslyn-but the only thing is, Josslyn’s almost as loyal to Jason as her mom is! She doesn’t believe for a moment that Jason shot either Curtis via ricochet or Dante.
Sometimes, people just have to avoid talking about divisive subjects and put the friendship ahead of the differences-although with emotion-charged situations it’s hard.
Curtis admits that even though he believes in the adage “innocent until proven guilty” sometimes it’s difficult to live.
