Will Scott And Liesl Ever Reunite — And Where Is Our Favorite Gal?

General Hospital spoilers reveal Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) has seemingly moved on from his love affair with Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati).

She gave him little choice — dumping him and leaving town to continue a string of conference stops.

While Scott suspected she was avoiding dealing with her daughter’s death, it’s possible Liesl just couldn’t get over Scott’s role in keeping Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) from facing persecution when she thought Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) was “The Hook Killer.”

All of Port Charles is too painful for Liesl to immerse herself in now, but what happens if she returns to town long after Scott has found someone else to love — and has that already happened? When will we see Liesl again?

General Hospital Spoilers — Grief Does Funny Things To People

Liesl really clung to her anger when she found out Scott helped Elizabeth, representing her when she turned herself in in exchange for immunity as long as she rolled over on Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss).

She couldn’t believe her beau would betray her that way, but Scott would do anything for Elizabeth. Besides, Scott didn’t believe Elizabeth’s guilt had anything to do with her daughter’s death. In the end, the truth came to light and Liesl may have been forced to accept that.

But she had already let enough time go by and pain set in that it seemed as though she couldn’t break ties with the grudge she was holding against Scott anymore.

GH Spoilers – Hint Port Chuck Packs A Punch

Liesl couldn’t wait to hightail it out of town on the heels of Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) death.

Watching her daughter die in her arms was the most painful experience of her life — and Liesl has been through the wringer on more than one occasion.

Sticking around Port Charles only added to that pain. Everywhere she looked, there were memories of her daughter who died too soon.

There were reminders of how helpless she felt to save her, and how many people seemed to just move on with their lives while she was ready to bring her own life to a halt in mourning.

Instead of immersing herself in that pain, she decided to run from it. But that meant leaving Scott behind, too.

General Hospital Spoilers — Scott Baldwin Moves On?

Left to his own devices, Scott wasn’t initially all that happy with being ditched by the latest love of his life. He thought he would eventually convince Liesl to settle down and marry him.

Instead, she was jet-setting all over the world to medical conferences, bent on curing Huntington’s Disease as though that would mean something in terms of Britt’s life.

But since Liesl’s departure, his attempts to bring her home and back to him have failed. Instead, he has found himself moving on with Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring), however briefly.

Is that the last punch on his dance card from Lucy, or will there be more? Will Liesl get wind of Scott’s love affair with Lucy and come running home to reclaim him? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.

Net zero is no longer mere policy. It has mutated into a religious cult, and Energy Secretary Ed Miliband is its High Priest. All of us are being forced to bow down at its altar, obedient to the cosmic law of decarbonisation. And as a report by the National Energy System Operator [NESO] confirmed yesterday, a huge price will be extracted to enforce our obedience. That price is likely to include swingeing financial penalties for ordinary households that dare to consume electricity at peak times. Heating your home, running a dishwasher or washing machine, watching TV or simply boiling a kettle will become far more expensive.
