The 51-year-old and his wife Emily, 34, announced the arrival of their little girl, who weighs 7lb 3oz, on Instagram on Wednesday

Sending her love she wrote: ‘I’m so happy for you -Dylan… Robyn…Boys names are great for girls’.

Meanwhile Good Morning Britain presenter Charlotte sent her own slightly biased suggestion: ‘Amazing news big congratulations!! I vote for Charlotte’.

Other fans also sent their name recommendation as they proposed something spring themed.

One said: ‘Congratulations to you all. As she’s born in April and not far from Easter, maybe April, Blossom, Daisy, or Violet’.

Another suggested: ‘Sophia! She looks like a Sophia! And goes so we’ll with your other children’s names!’

While another joked in reference to Peter’s hit pop song: ‘no name – she’s a Mysterious Girl’.

Peter announced his daughter’s birth on Wednesday, with two snaps of both him and Emily with the baby.

He wrote: ‘Just minutes old……We feel so overwhelmed right now. So happy to welcome our beautiful girl to the family.

Alongside a slew of sweet snaps, in which Peter joked she has ‘already given him the middle finger’, the Mysterious Girl hitmaker asked fans to send in suggestions

The Mysterious Girl singer, 51, who already shares Theo, eight, and Amelia, 10, with Dr Emily, 34, announced the happy news on her Instagram page on Wednesday

‘Mum and daughter are doing amazing. Born Tuesday 2nd April 2024, 7lb 3oz and thankfully very healthy.

‘Baby has been spoilt with cuddles from Junior, Princess, Amelia and Theo who are all in love with their new little sister. As parents, we couldn’t be happier.

‘Only thing is…. She has no name yet. Help!

‘Thanks to all the doctors, midwives and staff at Musgrove Park Hospital Taunton. You were incredible. And Emily’s parents, whom I adore. You have both been incredible.

‘I’m so happy. Just off to hold her. Thanks everyone for reading.’

The Mysterious Girl singer and Emily are parents to Theo, eight, and Amelia, 10. Peter also shares daughter Princess, 16, and son Junior, 18, with his ex-wife Katie Price.

Peter previously said in his New magazine column: ‘I was reading about a few baby names that are apparently on the brink of ‘extinction’, and it looks like the most endangered in 2024 is Keanu for a boy and Flo, a shortened version of Florence, for a girl.

‘I really like Keanu. It’s crazy to think names could be wiped out. Maybe this will give us some inspiration, but we have no idea what we’ll call the baby.”

‘Millie didn’t get her name for the first six weeks of her life, as we started with Rose before settling on Millie.’
