Barcelona legend Carles Puyol seems to be a huge fan of one player in Chelsea’s squad.
Chelsea are ninth in the Premier League right now, but there are some really good footballers at Stamford Bridge.
At present, Cole Palmer is obviously the standout, while Enzo Fernandez is someone with a lot of technical ability.
Palmer is actually the joint-top scorer in the Premier League this season, netting 20 times in the competition.
The 21-year-old scored four goals in his side’s 6-0 win against Everton on Monday. He has now become a player who Jamie Carragher absolutely loves.

Carles Puyol hails Chelsea star as a ‘great player’
While Palmer has really impressed this season, the England international is not the Chelsea player who Puyol has been praising.
It has not been Fernandez either. Rather, the former Barcelona captain has been lauding Moises Caicedo.
Speaking to El Universo, Puyol said: “A great player, who has the necessary quality, the necessary talent to be able to do important things; then other aspects must be given, but the most important thing is that he’s in a great team where he can grow a lot.”
He also spoke about Caicedo’s country Ecuador ahead of this year’s Copa America, adding: “A team that competes well, and now we’ll see how far they can go in the Copa America with players like Caicedo, who is good; but not only him, because there are many young players who are showing a good level, a reflection of the great work they are doing.”
Moises Caicedo’s best game for Chelsea
Caicedo may have played his best game in a Chelsea shirt so far on Monday.
Against Everton, the 22-year-old was able to make six tackles and four interceptions, according to WhoScored.
No player on the pitch managed to top him in either area. If Chelsea start to see more of that, then Caicedo will start to justify the massive fee the Blues paid for him.
It was the kind of performance that can help you to see where Puyol is coming from with his praise for the Ecuador international. Caicedo and Chelsea take on Manchester City in the FA Cup next.
