In one photo, Jolie sat and posed with her legs tied tightly together, her eyes lifeless. Although the work looks strange, photographer Garner revealed that it was Jolie who suggested this pose.

“Angelina found different ways of posing without much guidance from me, including sitting with her legs tied. The photo later became one of the most unique works about her,” Garner shared.

These are not the only photos of Jolie in the 1990s. The Daily Mail page also previously released a series of videos of Jolie taking acting classes around the beginning of 2000.

Jolie’s youthful photos are being exhibited in London (UK).

In 1991, Jolie was 16 years old. She started working as a photo model with the hope of achieving a new step in her career.

In the same year, the Hollywood actress said she was depressed and often cut herself.

Shortly after modeling, she appeared in music videos for Meat Loaf, Lenny Kravitz and The Lemonheads.

“I became like this after discovering I couldn’t communicate with the people around me. When I was growing up, I wasn’t used to letting other people hug me, even if it was my mother.”

When she was young, Jolie often listened to rock music and learned to dance whenever she had free time. She said she wanted to become a humanitarian activist.

“I knew very little about the world around me and only cared about myself. I don’t see myself as beautiful because I only see flaws,” she said about her previous thoughts.

In 1993, Jolie had her first role in the low-budget fantasy film  Cyborg 2 . Two years later, she continued to appear in the movie  Hackers  with Jonny Lee Miller. The two married in 1996 and divorced just a year later.
