One Chelsea player has seen his recent strong performance rewarded with a place in the Premier League team of the week.
This is according to WhoScored, who select their teams based on statistical ratings.
The Blues showed the spirit and fight Mauricio Pochettino has been crying out for, as they turned around a two goal deficit to take take a point away from Villa Park.

Normally this season, has been the performances of Cole Palmer that have been rewarded with accolades such as this, with him sat on 20 Premier League goals this season.

Noni Madueke found the net for the Blues at a crucial time on Saturday, before picking up the assist for Conor Gallagher’s sweet strike.

His performance on the whole was inspiring, and has now been rewarded with a place on the right-wing of the team of the week
It is fair to say the England U21 star seems to have settled far better than his young counterpart on the other wing, with Mykhailo Mudryk not impressing as much in recent weeks.
This is despite Madueke not costing near what the Ukraine international did, joining just over a year ago for a fee of £30m.
He will be an important member of the side who are picked to take on Tottenham later this week in what is set to be a crucial game in their Premier League season.
The Blues’ chances of qualifying for Europe for next season are fading, and they need to start getting three points on the board on a regular basis from now in order to have a chance of achieving it.
It is thought that this will be a crucial factor in whether Pochettino keeps his job as Chelsea manager, with there set to be a number of other options available to speak to this summer should they feel a change is necessary.
