McGregor is training hard ahead of his June 29th fight with Michael Chandler at UFC 303.
Conor McGregor’s training camp is under way as he gears up for his first MMA fight in three years at UFC 303 next month.
The Dubliner takes on Michael Chandler on June 29th in the main event of UFC 303 in Las Vegas in what will be his first fight since losing to Dustin Poirier after breaking his leg in 2021.
The Irishman’s return bout with Chandler was formally announced last month, with The Notorious last week beginning intensive training for his clash with Chandler.
Taking to social media on Thursday evening, McGregor shared some snaps from inside his Dublin training camp with his head coach John Kavanagh.
In the pictures, McGregor can be seen grappling with a training partner before posing for pictures with his teammate and Kavanagh at the end of the session.
His opponent is also in intensive training and after years of calling out McGregor, ‘Iron Mike’ will be desperate for the win.
In a unique quirk, both of these fighters are coming off long periods of inactivity. McGregor hasn’t fought since July 2021, while Chandler has been sidelined since November 2022 and has been waiting patiently for a bout with the former two-weight UFC champion to come to fruition.
