History-making Brit driver Lando Norris, 24, nails his first F1 win after abandoning horse riding as a child before motorsport gave him £80million contract, a model girlfriend and stunning £20m Surrey mansion

He has quickly become the poster boy for F1 and now Lando Norris has reached new heights bagging his first Grand Prix win in Miami pushing reigning world champion Max Verstappen off the top of the podium.

The Bristol-born 24-year-old stormed ahead of the Red Bull star in the final moments of the race on Sunday securing a narrow win for the McLaren team.

Norris has perhaps always been destined for F1 greatness after becoming the youngster-ever British driver when he made his debut at 19-years-old in the Australian Grand Prix.

Yet if it had not been for his love of horse riding as a child, the young star may never have made his way to motorsports.

‘I started on horse riding, so I started on four legs,’ he recalled previously. ‘But then I moved to quad biking. I was a big fan. Then I really got into motorcross.’

Now he is one of the most successful F1 drivers both on and off the racetrack.

Not only does he have a four-year contract estimated to be worth a whopping £80 million, the racing pro has a series of luxury brand deals and has starred in a number of glam photoshoots.

Clutching onto a series of supercars, designer watches and a stunning £20million mansion in Surrey. As well as career success, his personal life has also been blossoming.

Over the past year, he has ben regularly spotted alongside the ex-girlfriend of Barcelona footballer Joao Felix, Portuguese model and actress Margarida Corceiro, only add to speculation and discussion about his romantic life.

The pair were recently spotted at the Monte-Carlo Masters final amid her split from Felix last year. Norris and Corceiro were first spotted together last May in a video on social media showing the 24-year-old driving his Fiat Jolly with her in the back of the classic car.

Norris had previously been dating Luisinha Oliveira, with the McLaren driver beginning a relationship with the Portuguese model at the start of 2022.

The relationship ended in September that year, with Norris confirming the split on social media.

Like many of the F1 elite, Norris grew up in an affluent family, living in the rural town of Glastonbury, Somerset.

He is the second son of multi-millionaire businessman Adam Norris  – who has amassed a £205 million fortune – and his mother Cisca, from Belgium.

Norris is one of four children – having an elder brother called Oli, and two younger sisters Flo and Cisca.

He attended school in Somerset but ultimately left without any GCSEs in pursuit of a career in support, later studying physics and maths with the help of a personal tutor.

Norris became the youngest go-karting world champion at just age 14 – a title previously held by Lewis Hamilton.

It was during his time on the go-karting scene that he was talent-spotted by McLaren who were impressed by the record breaking youngster.

Norris became the youngest-ever British Formula One driver when he made his debut in the competition in 2019 at just 19-years-old at the Australian GP after coming through the ranks of the garage as an FP2 star.

Team principal Zak Brown once called an even-more youthful Norris to his office in 2019 to tell him the news that he was being given a contract and full-time seat in Formula One, telling him at the time: ‘Welcome to Formula One.’

The Englishman took the news calmly at the time and has taken to the on and off-track demands that being one of the world’s biggest sporting celebrities brings with it.

Formula One’s media moguls have wrangled their product as being the glitzy and most glamorous event as their recent success in Miami showed and Norris is central to their image – and McLaren’s.

The energetic and motor-obsessed babyface of the sport has never looked unnerved by driving for McLaren and settled quickly in the sport, making podiums along the way but always falling short until passing the chequered flag first on Sunday.

110 starts for McLaren finally came to their best moment yet in the season’s seventh race of the calendar and Norris can now look to soaking in the American sunshine while toasting a first glorious GP victory.

His age and combined millionaire status make celebrations a grander affair with Norris renowned for occasions where even recently he got injured accidentally while playing around partying.

A night out in Amsterdam, Holland ahead of the Miami event saw Norris sustain a gruesome facial injury and was pictured sporting a cut on his face while on board a boat in the Dutch capital, having seemingly revelled in the King’s Day celebrations.

Images quickly circulated on social media showing Norris, 24, with a bloodied bandage stretched across his face – although he appeared in good spirits.

Any signs of pain born from that injury were quickly doused in champagne by Red Bull’s, Verstappen and Ferrari driver Charles LeClerc on the podium as the three celebrate and toasted to their success.

Norris’ popularity amongst his fellow competitors was evident more than ever to see at the end of the race as he embraced several drivers with whom he has become close-friends with over the years of lining up on the track alongside one another.

Mercedes driver George Russell – who finished eighth overall in Miami – put his arm around Norris as the pair enjoyed a brief moment of friendly conversation together amidst the chaos of post-race procedures and celebrations.

Former McLaren team-mate and now-RB Formula One Team driver – Daniel Ricciardo – was also pictured looking delighted while sharing a lengthy hug with Norris in the pits.

McLaren chief, Brown, looked like a father full of pride when he roughly grabbed Norris and hugged his star driver who has finally delivered grand prix success for the team with a stunning win against the odds.

Away from the track and once he has had time to revel in celebrations Stateside, Norris will likely return to Monaco and try to settle back in his usual routine where he leads a sports-obsessed lifestyle aimed at bearing success.

Norris’ social media channels shows he is a lover of fast-growing sport Paddel and golf, where he strikes a unique fashion sense as he takes time away from racing.

The riches of his McLaren contract reward him with up to £20million-a-year, while his ever-growing profile as a rising social media star – where he often collaborates in videos with celebrity YouTubers – brings further endorsements give him the luxuries you’d expect from a F1 superstar.

Speaking to Jenson Button after the race yesterday he said: ‘About time. F***! Sorry! What a race! It’s been a long time coming. Finally, I’ve managed to do it.

‘I’m so happy for my whole team. I finally delivered for them. Long day, tough race. Finally on top, so I’m over the moon. The whole weekend has been good. I’ve had some little setbacks along the way but I knew on Friday we had the pace.

‘Thanks to, everyone. I’ll give a shout-out to my mum and dad of course.’ Sky quickly apologised after the interview for Norris’ hilarious x-rated outburst.

His time in Formula One is still relatively only at it’s beginning and while much has been discussed about Norris’ wait for a first victory, much should also be expected from his future as the Brit begins to purr inline with McLaren’s improvements that are making them more competitive with each and every passing race.
