Adebayo Akinfenwa Celebrates His Son “J” As He Turned 8 Years

Adebayo Akinfenwa took to his Instagram page to celebrate his youngest son who he only referred to as “J” as the lad turned 8.

The Faversham Town striker posed with his son J in a Nigerian native dress and they both hit the knuckle with a smirk on their face.

The first image showed their knuckle fist while the second image showed both of them with their hands folded.

He captioned the images shared with: “Happy 8th bday to my lil big man J!!!!!! I don’t know where the time has gone but proud of the lil man your growing into, despite being a United fan  love always Dad!!!!  #BMO”

Adebayo Akinfenwa who was recently awarded Sir Tom Finney Award in Sunday’s EFL Awards 2023 expressed gratitude.

He has made several appearances for 14 different Clubs and he later left the EFL at the conclusion of the 2021/22 season.

He delightedly said after he received the award: “It’s humbling, my brother got me here on false pretenses – I thought I was giving out an award!”

“I am not normally stuck for words. Gareth Ainsworth knows how much he means to me; he is more than just a manager. The stars couldn’t have aligned any better for him to come and give me my award.”

“To be able to achieve a dream that you have as a five-year-old and to play the game for 22 years, it’s decent. I am very unapologetically myself and I’ve done it my way.”

“I signed for a Club in Wycombe that were always punching above their weight and getting promoted to the Championship at the age of 38 was the pinnacle.”
