The story will take place in the 1960s, exploring the period leading up to the events of the original film in Stephen King’s It series. Set in the small town of Derry, Maine, it will delve into the eerie and unsettling occurrences that foreshadow the emergence of Pennywise the Clown. Through the eyes of the town’s residents, we will witness the gradual build-up of fear and dread as strange disappearances and inexplicable phenomena begin to plague the community. This prequel aims to provide a deeper understanding of the dark forces at play in Derry, setting the stage for the terrifying events that follow in the iconic Stephen King adaptation.
