Cher, 78, is a wrinkle-free wonder as she debuts blonde hair in NYC after teasing a new album

Cher turned heads as she put on a chic display while ditching her dark locks during an outing in New York City on Wednesday.

The Believe songstress, 78 – who has been promoting her newly released memoir titled Cher: The Memoir, Part One – was spotted embracing Radio Man outside of her hotel in the Big Apple.

The performer was stylish wearing a pair of loose-fitting, gray trousers as well as a light gray blazer that was buttoned at the front.

She also opted for a white shirt underneath and slipped into a pair of black, heeled boots.

Cher wowed as she went for eye-catching, yellow blonde hair that was parted in the middle and flowed down past her shoulders in light waves.

The star – who is dating Alexander ‘AE’ Edwards – accessorized her look by adding a dainty, silver necklace and chunky rings on each of her hands.

The singer’s makeup was glammed up, and comprised of a layer of mascara to her lashes as well as a light, shimmering shadow around her eyes.

Cher – who notably went platinum blonde late last year – added a warm blush to her cheekbones for a radiant glow, while a glossy pink tint was worn on her lips for a finishing touch.

The Moonstruck actress was seen arriving back to her hotel and soon crossed paths with Radio Man – whose real name is Craig Castaldo.

He is known for making cameo appearances in over 300 film and television projects, and often wears a radio over his chest.

While greeting each other after she stepped out of a sleek, black vehicle – the pair shared a friendly hug. The two were previously spotted together back in NYC in 2015.

Cher has been busy promoting her new book, Cher: The Memoir, Part One, which officially released earlier this week on November 19.

And during a recent appearance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon this week, the star also confirmed that she is working on a new album.

At one point amid the interview, she was asked whether there will be ‘another album’ by the host.

Without giving anything away, the singer simply replied: ‘I’m about to.’

Earlier this month, Cher did not receive a Grammy nomination for her album titled, Christmas, which was released last year in October 2023.

The 27th studio album dropped by the songstress contained original tracks – her first LP to do so since Closer To The Truth (2013).

The Burlesque actress – who was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in October – released the greatest hits album Forever in September.

The same month, it was reported that the singer was in talks to play the legends slot at Glastonbury in 2025.

Cher is believed to have held ‘meaningful discussions’ with the world-famous music festival’s organizers about playing the coveted Sunday afternoon spot reserved for music royalty.

A source told The Sun newspaper: ‘Cher is practically the legend of all pop music legends. She would be incredible.’

‘It’s been a long time coming but she is finally in meaningful talks with Glastonbury about playing the legend’s slot.’

Cher hasn’t toured the UK since 2019 and while a full tour ‘doesn’t interest her anymore,’ she’s open to the idea of performing at Glastonbury.

The insider added: ‘Everything is very much in the planning stages, but Cher is hoping to play a handful of shows in the UK next year and Glastonbury could be one of them. The idea of a full scale tour just doesn’t interest her anymore.’

Cher has also previously admitted to being surprised by her own longevity.

The chart-topping star – who released her debut solo album, All I Really Want to Do, in 1965 – revealed that she never imagined that she’d still be working at her age.

She told The Guardian newspaper: ‘I never thought about getting this old and still having a job!’

Despite this, Cher doesn’t have any plans to quit the music business anytime soon.

She said: ‘Barbra Streisand once asked me, “Why are you still working?” And I said, “Because some day I won’t be able to.” So, for as long as I can work, I will.’

Throughout the course of her music career thus far, the singer has raked in a total of seven Grammy nominations, winning one for Believe in 2000 for Best Dance Recording.

Cher reached another milestone this week when she dropped the first part of her memoir on November 19.

The book goes into detail about her childhood, initial rise to fame as well as her relationship and marriage to Sonny Bono.

The pair married in 1964 and their divorce was later finalized a little over 10 years later in 1975. In 1969, the two welcomed their first and only child, Chaz Bono.

In the memoir, Cher penned that Sonny blamed her for cheating, and she labeled him as controlling as well as ‘Machiavellian.’

Also during her latest appearance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, the star got candid about the process of writing the two-part memoir.

‘It was hard,’ she admitted to the host. ‘It was a b***h. It’s not going through your life that’s hard so much.’

‘But I did it a couple of times because the first time it didn’t work out. The second time I just didn’t want to tell anything. And then I thought, “You know what? Give back the money.”‘

She continues, ‘It’s hard because when you’re telling your life, there’s parts you’d like to guard.’

Cher then expressed that her life is ‘much more complicated than you guys can ever imagine and much more complicated than you know.’

‘Putin isn’t bluffing… we are walking into disaster’, Serbia’s president warns, as Poland says ‘threat of global conflict is real’

Serbia’s president has issued a stark warning regarding the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict, claiming that Vladimir Putin is ‘not bluffing’ about the potential use of nuclear missiles. According to Serbian publication Novosti, President Aleksander Vucic, one of Putin’s allies who claims to know the Russian leader ‘very well’, told journalists: ‘Don’t think that someone somewhere is bluffing, unfortunately, nobody is bluffing and, unfortunately, we are walking into mild disaster’. Vucic’s ominous comment comes after Ukraine carried out its first strike on Russian territory with a US-supplied long-range missile on Tuesday – just days after the Biden administration gave Kyiv the green light despite fears it could escalate the conflict beyond control.
