Styles has a net worth of $120 million and has the fifth-highest-grossing tour of all time
Singer Harry Styles is the latest to jump on the celebrity fragrance collection train.
The Grammy-award-winning singer is launching his own line of fragrances as part of his beauty brand “Pleasing.” Styles’ fragrance collection is set to release on Nov. 16 and will feature three different gender-neutral scents each retailing for $135.1
Styles has been successful as a solo artist after he rose to fame with British boy band One Direction. Styles has a net worth of $120 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth, thanks to his music and lucrative world tours.2
Music Career
Styles rose to fame from being one of the members of the world-famous British boy band sensation, One Direction.
The band released its first album, “Up All Night,” in 2012, which debuted at No.1 on Billboard’s Hot 200 albums chart—the first British group to do so on its first release.3 In fact, One Direction was the first group to have its first four albums debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.4 One Direction had the highest-grossing tour in 2014, earning a total of $290 million, according to Forbes.5
Styles went on to launch his own solo career after One Direction announced its hiatus in 2015. The singer’s self-titled album was released in May 2017 and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
Styles’ second solo album, “Harry’s House,” won Album of the Year at the 2022 Grammy Awards.6 The lead single on that album, “As It Was,” topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart for 15 weeks straight.7
Styles has also made millions from going on tour. His latest “Love on Tour” was a two-year tour that ended in July 2023 and became the fifth-highest-grossing tour of all time, according to Billboard.8 The 169-show tour grossed $617 million and sold more than five million tickets worldwide.
Acting
Styles also has several acting credits to his name.
Styles made his acting debut in 2017’s award-winning film “Dunkirk.” Styles had an after-credits cameo in the Marvel film “Eternals” in 2021 and starred in “My Policeman.” He also starred in Olivia Wilde’s “Don’t Worry Darling,” which collected a total $30 million at the box office on its opening weekend, according to Variety.9
Brands and Businesses
Styles first launched his gender-neutral beauty brand, Pleasing, in 2021 with a few products—nail polishes, a dual-ended serum for eyes and lips, and a daily serum for the face.
Now, the line has expanded to include other skin and body care products, apparel, and soon-to-be-launched fragrances. The products range from $25 to $150, with several of the $100 and $150 kits sold out.10
Styles has done ads with major brands such as Gucci and Apple.
In 2022, Styles was featured in an Apple AirPods commercial, appearing in classic Apple “silhouette” form and dancing to his song, “Music for a Sushi Restaurant.” According to Variety, Styles donated his appearance fee from the Apple campaign to the International Rescue Committee, an organization that was providing humanitarian aid to Ukrainian refugees at the time.11
In 2020, Styles invested in a new entertainment arena, Co-Op Live, in his hometown of Manchester in the United Kingdom. The development of the state-of-the-art, sustainable venue is being led by American live entertainment and sports company Oak View Group and is set to open in April 2024.12
