The second theory suggests that the society of assassins is out in the open, and people are used to it. It includes the fifth installment of the main storyline. The news might be shocking to many, especially considering the end of the fourth film.

During a recent earnings call by Lionsgate, Joe Drake, the Chairperson of Lionsgate Motion, confirmed the news (via ComicBook). Drake revealed that the team has been working on the fifth installment since the fourth film ended. However, they faced some challenges during the recent WGA strikes. Now that the strikes are over, the company has decided to reintroduce the project alongside other spin-off series like the recent The Continental.
