The beauty of the girl group replacing BlackPink

BlackPink’s contract ends in August 2023, but so far the company and the members have not commented on whether they will continue to sign or not. The media in recent months has continuously reported that 3/4 members left YG, BlackPink did not disband but it is difficult to fully operate like before. Amidst many upheavals in YG, the company set the debut date for Baby Monster, a girl group of BlackPink’s junior generation, and also the third girl group trained by YG.

Baby Monster brings together seven multinational faces, from Korea, Japan, and Thailand in their teens, including: Ruka, Pharita, Asa, Ahyeon, Haram, Rora and Chiquita. Some elements are expected to be Jennie and Lisa version two. The introduced group brings together multi-talented individuals with outstanding appearances. It’s unclear what genre of music YG wants Baby Monster to follow, but the company clearly shows its ambition to bring this 7-member group to follow BlackPink’s international success.© Provided by VTC

The second Korean member of Baby Monster is Haram, born in 2007, and used to be a child model. She interned at YG when she was 11 years old. The female rookie has an outstanding and professional figure and charisma thanks to growing up from artistic activities since childhood. Haram’s strong point in YG’s new girl group lineup is her voice, she reminds many audiences of Rosé (BlackPink). The “On the ground” singer is also the ideal model that Haram is aiming for.© Provided by VTC

Baby Monster’s trump card called Ahyeon. She is one of three Korean members of the group along with Haram and Rora and is the one who receives the most attention from the public thanks to her multi-talented abilities, standing out in three fields: singing, rapping, and dancing. Not only that, she is also commented by many people that she has many similarities with Jennie (BlackPink). Not yet officially debuted, Ahyeon performed the song “Dangerously” (Charlie Puth) causing a stir on social networks. While waiting for their debut, the rookie born in 2007 stirred up public opinion by performing the song keeping the N-word intact (a sensitive word with racist implications) when rapping a cover of “Feeling Myself” – Nicki Minaj.
