Max Verstappen genuinely believes that while a team has been dominating a particular sport for several years, the most ardent fans of the sport cannot just turn their heads on it. He feels they should appreciate the team who has been putting in the hard yards to maintain a certain level for an extended period.

While talking about the same in detail, he quoted Michael Jordan’s Chicago Bulls’ run as an example and said:

The NBA survived when the Chicago Bulls were dominating. At the time, or even afterward, people are like, ‘Oh, that was amazing.’ If you are a real fan of the sport, you should be able to appreciate a team doing very well.

His teammate, Sergio Perez, has struggled in comparison to him and has only been able to secure the bragging rights in two F1 events. Verstappen has operated in a league of his own and with the Las Vegas Grand Prix just around the corner, he would look to claim the first victory at the track.

Since the start of this week, the Las Vegas GP is the only thing that the fans have been talking about. Max Verstappen is seen by several people as one of the favorites to triumph at the event, and considering this, several eyes are going to be on him around the iconic Las Vegas strip.
