It seemed both idols made their Western movie debut… or did they?
Recently, posts have been going around sharing that Jungkook was set to star in the latest Trolls movie. On IMDb, when scrolling down, netizens noticed Jungkook’s name in the cast as “Brother Diamond.”

While it could’ve easily been photoshopped, a fan took a screen recording of the website with Jungkook’s name clearly on it.

Of course, with no announcement, it seemed odd for Jungkook to play a role in such a huge franchise. Yet, it seemed to be a mistake on the website as shortly after, Jungkook’s name was not seen on the website.

If that wasn’t enough, Jimin was also hot news after apparently making his acting debut in the film Return To Seoul. On November 16, X account for “DEADLINE” shared the “French César 2024 Revelations List,” and ARMYs were surprised to see Jimin in the thumbnail.
The article explained that “Park Ji-Min” was featured for “her” award-winning performance in Return To Seoul.

Yet, it seems like the article got confused as the real Park Jimin starring in the movie is actually the actress Park Ji Min, a star born in Korea who is now based in Paris.

After realizing what happened, while some ARMYs in the quotes were angry with the mistake, many joked that it was a surprise and who wouldn’t want BTS’s Jimin in a movie?
While both instances were funny, the fact that both “rumors” of Jungkook and Jimin’s acting debut happened on the same day was even funnier.
