I’m A Celebrity host Ant McPartlin flew to Australia without wife Anne-Marie while Declan Donnelly is joined by wife Ali Astall and their children

He may be reunited with his longtime television partner Declan Donnelly, but it appears Ant McPartlin has jetted out to host I’m A Celeb without his beloved wife.

Anne-Marie was nowhere to be seen when the Geordie star landed at Brisbane airport last week, and while Dec has been spotted with his wife Ali Astall and their two children repeatedly.

Her rumoured absence comes as he celebrates his 48th birthday tomorrow.

Anne-Marie, who married Ant two years ago, has been at his side in Oz for several years before.

And in 2019 she even took her two daughters from her marriage to ex-husband Scott Corbett.

A show source told MailOnljne: ‘This year she does not appear to be with him before the show is due to start this Sunday.

‘She isn’t anywhere to be seen despite having joined Ant several times before. If she isn’t there then Ant will celebrate his birthday without her.’

Earlier this week Dec was seen frolicking on the Gold Coast with his wife, Ali Astall and their two children Isla, five, and one-year-old, Jack.

It comes after Ant and Anne-Marie were spotted ten days ago heavily wrapped up in coats and holding hands while out on a dog walk in West London before the star jetted off.

Traditionally families join the dynamic duo who have been hosting the show since it began 22 years ago with Ant and Anne-Marie pictured last year strolling hand-in-hand and enjoying a lunch at Coolangatta beach.

It was the first time the couple were in Australia together for I’m A Celebrity as a married couple and Ant’s PA-turned-wife brought out her two teenage daughters from her previous marriage, Poppy and Daisy, who she shares with her ex-husband, Scott.

Ant even broke his tradition of playing golf with Dec during filming for Anne-Marie last year so he could have more quality time before the show kicked off.

In 2019, while Ant was still in the process of settling the divorce with his wife of 12 years Lisa Armstrong, Anne-Marie joined him Down Under and even pulled her two daughters out of school for the trip.

Lisa, who he split from in 2018, would also join him in Australia while they were married.

Ant and Anne-Marie married in the summer of 2021 at the five star Heckfield Place Hotel in Hampshire.

Their star-studded guest list included Frank and Christine Lampard, David Walliams and Phillip Schofield.

Anne-Marie wore a £15,000 Suzanne Neville wedding gown.
