The Young and the Restless’ Michelle Stafford (Phyllis) recently brought a few special people to work with her at the CBS Studios and though it was her daughter Natalia who was there to do research for a school project, her son Jameson was in tow as well. The special visit from the actress’ kids not only gave everyone on set something to think about but one of the answers to Natalia’s questions to the cast — and everyone behind the scenes — left her mama deeply affected.
Stafford explained, “My daughter was doing a project for school in which she had to interview folks with whom I work.”
Not only did Natalia talk to her mom’s castmates but she also interviewed people in various departments, both behind and in front of the camera. However, one question she asked stood out from the rest — or more to the point, the answer to that question.
“One of the questions she asked was ‘What do you like the most about your job’?” to which Stafford shared, “Every single person said ‘the people I work with’. This really affected me deeply.” She went on to state, “I realize not everyone feels like this at their job. It’s a gift. It’s a gift to be surrounded by incredible people. I haven’t known anything different.”
Stafford made it clear how much she loves everyone at the show, as well as everyone who works in the company, and expressed, “It’s a blessing to be in the company of these incredibly gifted lovely folks. It’s important to know what you have when you have it.”
We can attest to Stafford’s statement and know exactly what it’s like to work with a great group of people. Not everyone is lucky enough to have that, so when you do, it truly is “a gift.”
