Therefore, the world government tried to hide its existence and also changed its name but the will of the devil fruit got its new user which is our protagonist.

Luffy’s devil fruit awakening also known as Gear 5 does the minimal of what an awakening devil fruit does which is to affect his surroundings but what is so special about this devil fruit is that Luffy can do anything he imagines from making his wrist to a size of an island to grabbing a lighting if he desires so.

The true extent of Luffy’s Gear 5 has still not been determined and we are hoping to see more ridiculous things from him in the future of the series.
