With Disney’s ultimate fan event currently underway in Anaheim, CA, dozens of big name celebrities have stepped out to discuss and support their upcoming projects with the network.
Among them was Angelina Jolie, 44, who turned heads at the D23 Expo on Saturday while wearing a black dress with a dramatic slit up one leg.
The iconic actress attended the party to dish on some details about her upcoming new film with Disney, Maleficent: Mistress Of Evil.
The esteemed actress looked not a day over 30 as she rocked a black cocktail dress with pointed heels on the red carpet.
Her dress showed off ample leg with a slit up one side and turned sheer at the top to show a tasteful hint of skin.
Jolie kept her makeup simple with a natural glow and gloss and left her hair straightened and down.
With the sequel to Disney’s highly popular Maleficent set to premiere in October, the busy mom got animated while talking with reporters about what to expect.
The movie will feature Elle Fanning as Princess Aurora, along with Chiwetel Ejiofor and Michelle Pfeiffer.
Angelina will reprise her role as Maleficent, the forest kingdom’s fierce protector who turns evil after a terrible betrayal.
Being the entertainer that she is, when Jolie first landed the role, she used her scary costume to prank her kids.
‘I actually pranked my kids when I first did Maleficent and I scared one of my kids! And I’ll never do that again. I won’t say which kid it was but, I thought, when I had first put it on and they had never seen it, and I thought it would be fun to kind of, you know. But when you’re little, you don’t realize what mom means, to a kid,’ she recalled.
‘I think that’s why Maleficent’s so scary, is because she’s a woman,’ she continued. ‘So it’s almost like a mom. Mom means so much and when mom transforms into something that’s like a demon, it had a really bad effect and I had to kind of peel it off and take everything off in front of my kids to say, ‘It’s me! It’s me! It’s OK.’

The major announcement revealed that Hilary Duff will be returning to Disney Channel to reprise her role as Lizzie McGuire as she navigates life in her 30s.
The channel also announced its plans to develop three new live-action series with Marvel Studios including: Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, and She-Hulk.
Angelina’s appearance at the big event comes after she was seen arriving in Seoul, South Korea, earlier in the week, dropping her eldest, Maddox, off at college.
The star told college students that she was ‘trying not to cry’ as she left him.
While at the expo, Jolie also discussed her son’s big life event, saying she was ‘excited.’
‘It’s hard but actually really exciting! He’s ready and he’s so smart. And I’m so proud of him. And I’m excited. I’m excited about his choices,’ the brunette raved.
The teen, who Angelina adopted from Cambodia in 2002 with and her then partner Pitt legally adopted four years later, is very close to his mom, according to a Us Weekly source.
However, the 55-year-old actor’s relationship with Maddox has been strained since they reportedly got into a heated altercation three years ago on a private plane the family were traveling in.
After marrying in 2014, Angelina filed for divorce in September 2016, shortly after the altercation.
A judge only declared the actress ‘legally single’ in April 2019.
Maddox reportedly doesn’t think of the Once Upon A Time In Hollywood star as his father.
Pitt and Jolie share six kids together total, including Maddox: Shiloh, 13, Zahara, 14, Pax, 15, Vivienne, 11, and Pax, 11.
On top of the new Maleficent movie, the bombshell will also star in The One And Ony Ivan, Those Who Wish Me Dead, Come Away and Eternals.
