Fortunately, the God’s Plan hitmaker wasn’t injured and he carried on with the first concert in his four-month-long tour.

Artists being pelted with phones and in Harry Styles‘ case – a Skittle – has become a more frequent occurrence lately.

Don’t do this: Drake’s It’s All a Blue tour kicked off Wednesday night in Chicago with a literal bang. The Hotline Bling singer, 36, became the latest victim of bad audience behavior when he was hit by a cell phone that was thrown onto the stage

Drake didn’t stop singing when the phone hit him because he wasn’t injured.

That wasn’t the case recently when Bebe Rexha, 33, got hit in the face with a cell phone thrown at her, causing a black eye and requiring three stitches to fix the cut.

The fan that threw the phone at Rexha reportedly thought it would be funny. He was arrested and charged with assault.

Bebe is back to performing after the incident, but now she’s wearing protective goggles on stage.

Last week, Kelsea Ballerini, 29, was also hit in the face during a show. A fan threw a bracelet on stage and hit her causing the singer to pause her performance.

When she retook the stage she said: ‘If you ever don’t feel safe, please let someone around you know. If anyone’s pushing too much or you just have that gut feeling, just always flag it. Don’t throw things. You know?’

Afterward, the Miss Me More singer took to her Instagram Stories to share what happened, writing: ‘hi. i’m fine. someone threw a bracelet, it hit me in the eye, and it more so just scared me than hurt me.’

Singer Ava Max, 29, was stunned during a performance in Los Angeles when a stage crasher rushed onto the stage to slap her in the face.

‘He slapped me so hard that he scratched the inside of my eye. He’s never coming to a show again,’ she tweeted the morning after the show. ‘Thank you to the fans for being spectacular tonight in LA though!!’

In November, while Harry Styles, 29, was performing As It Was in Los Angeles he was hit in the face with a Skittle.

The Watermelon Sugar singer was blowing kisses to fans when his head suddenly whipped back and he grabbed his eye.

The string of disturbing incidents prompted Adele, 35, to speak out.

‘Have you noticed how people are like, forgetting f***ing show etiquette at the moment? People just throwing sh*t on stage, have you seen them?’ Adele asked the crowd at her Las Vegas residency Weekends with Adele.

‘I f***ing dare you. Dare you to throw something at me and I’ll f***ing kill you,’ she joked in the video a fan captured.

Good times: I’m a long way from sleeping back at plc and she was Chi when I met her like glc,’ he captioned the post

On tour: Drake’s tour kicked off in Chicago and runs through early October

No comment: Drake didn’t stop to comment on the phone that was thrown on stage

She continued: ‘Stop throwing things at the artist. I’ve been seeing these people. These people lost it, can you imagine?’

Earlier this week, Charlie Puth, 31, also spoke out about the disastrous trend.

‘This trend of throwing things at performers while they are on stage must come to an end,’ he wrote on Twitter on June 29.

‘It’s so disrespectful and very dangerous. Please just enjoy the music I beg of you…’
