Drake flashes a star print manicure as he leaves his New York hotel in furry shoes and embellished flared jeans

Drake showed off a freshly manicured set of nails as he departed his hotel in New York City on Tuesday night.

The Canadian rapper, 37, had a black star print painted onto his fingers, which he flashed as he stepped out in furry boots and a grey flannel jacket.

He added a plain black T-shirt and pair of wide legged denim jeans with silver glittering detailing up the leg.

Drake, whose real name is Aubrey Graham, added a gold chain to the attire and wore a pair of clear framed glasses.

The outing comes after Drake celebrated tying with Michael Jackson for most number-one hits by a male solo artist on the Billboard Hot 100 chart last month.

The One Dance singer has also come one step closer overtaking the Thriller superstar after his latest track First Person Shooter, which featured J. Cole, debuted at the top of the charts.

However, fans have already angrily pointed out that it’s not a fair comparison as Jackson was not an artist of the ‘streaming era’ therefore the data does not quite add up.

Drake, whose son Adonis, six, was featured on his newest album, wasted no time in celebrating his achievement by wearing a shining glove similar to the Beat It singer’s in several of his shots.

In an Instagram snap, Drake flashed a wide smile as he nursed a cocktail while wearing the accessory during a night out.

The performer also added a gif of a dancing Jackson-esque character to his photo.

The Find Your Love star went on to share a photo of his glove that was taken as he enjoyed a second drink.

Drake also posted a photo that had been taken during his younger years and showed him dressed like Jackson.

The performer added a short text graphic to his post to express that he saw the achievement as a ‘full circle moment.’

The hitmaker went on to share a heavily edited photo on his Instagram account that showed Jackson wearing a hoodie bearing one of the logos for OVO Sound.

First Person Shooter was released as part of Drake’s ninth studio album, For All the Dogs, which debuted earlier this month.

The record was preceded by the release of two singles, and the first, entitled Slime You Out, was made available to fans on September 15.

Drake stirred controversy for using an image of Halle Berry for the song’s cover art after the actress denied permission for him to utilize her likeness.

The second single, 8AM in Charlotte, made its debut just a day before the record itself.

One of the tracks from the record, Daylight, features vocals from the hitmaker’s son, Adonis Graham.

The Grammy Award-winning performer’s record also debuted at the top of the US Billboard 200 chart.

The final single from the album, Rich Baby Daddy, was made available to fans on October 13.

Major achievement: It comes after Drake celebrated tying with Michael Jackson for most number-one hits by a male solo artist on the Billboard Hot 100 chart
