After defeating the LA Clippers on Thursday night in San Francisco, the Golden State Warriors are heading down to Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon for a rematch. Golden State has released their injury report for this game, and Steph Curry is not listed, meaning he will be available for the afternoon affair.
Curry has gotten off to an incredible start to the new season, helping keep the Warriors afloat while they have dealt with slumping veterans and the absence of some key players. Curry was again fantastic in the win over LA on Thursday, but he also got some help late in that game from his backcourt partner Klay Thompson. Having struggled to start the season, Thompson again struggled through the first three quarters of that game, but came to life to start the fourth quarter, which really helped the Warriors create some much-needed separation between them and the Clippers.
This game in Los Angeles projects to be more difficult for the Warriors, because not only is it away from home, but it’s simply hard to beat the same team two games straight. That said, the Warriors had a lot working for them in that win over the Clippers on Thursday, and will look to bottle that up and bring it to Los Angeles with them.
